HFAP has a baby home for malnourished infants
and young children ages 0-3. These precious little
ones are brought to us on a regular basis at clinics,
food distributions, and visits to the slums. Many
times mothers bring us their children because
they cannot afford to feed them. By the time the
mother gives the child up, sometimes it is too
late to help. These women love their children
so much, they do not want to give them away, but
they cannot afford to keep them alive.
HOPE House takes in these
infants and young children and provides everything
necessary to bring them back to health. This requires
food, testing, medication, loving care, and a
clean environment. During this time the mothers
have the option of being enrolled in our Gift
of Hope program. Once the mother is earning enough
profit to feed her child, and the child is healthy,
the family will be reunited. In most cases children
live with us for 3-4 months. Once they return
home, the mothers bring them back every Thursday
for a check-up. The mothers are rewarded for every
good check-up to ensure their children are being
fed and taken care of with the money they are
earning. In cases where the mother is dead, or
unable to learn to run a small business, the child
will be available for adoption to a loving family.
HFAP is committed to providing each of our children
with proper nutrition, education, a safe living
environment, and loving people to care for them
at all times. Every child is matched with sponsors
from the states who pay $30 a month to help care
for one child’s specific needs. If you would like
to sponsor a child at HOPE House please email
